从事微生物次级代谢物的开发、营养化学品的制备以及天然活性物质的提取等研究。先后主持浙江省重点研发计划项目1项，浙江省团队科技特派员项目1项，市厅级课题3项目，参与国家863计划子课题1项，省级课题 1 项，市厅级课题4项，横向课题1项。发表学术论文 30 余篇，授权发明专利5件。2022年获得中国长城食品安全科学技术奖二等奖。
