荷兰代尔夫特理工大学Delft University of Technology工业催化专业博士,现任教育部“先进催化材料”创新团队带头人,国家“含氟新材料学科”创新引智基地(“111”计划)负责人,中国化工学会分子辨识分离工程专业委员会委员,“含氟专用化学品绿色合成与应用”浙江省工程研究中心主任,“含氟新材料”浙江省国际科技合作基地负责人,浙江师范大学含氟新材料研究所所长,浙江省化工学会常务理事等。主要从事工业催化、多孔材料的吸附和扩散、氟化工等领域的研发。回国工作后,主持科研项目30多项,其中国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家重点研发计划课题项目和国家973计划前期研究专项各1项。已在Chem. Eng. Sci., Chem. Eng. J., J. Catal., ACS Catal., Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc.等国际化工、化学主流学术期刊上发表研究论文200多篇,其中10篇代表作被引用3000多次。曾担任国际学术会议主席1次,多次应邀担任国际学术会议科学委员会委员和分会主席,在国际学术会议上作大会报告、主旨报告和邀请报告40多次。作为项目主持人和主要参与者,与多个国内外著名化工企业合作开展应用开发研究,革新工艺技术,取得了可观的经济效益,获授权发明专利40多件。获2012年中国侨界(创新人才)贡献奖和2023年浙江省自然科学三等奖;与巨化集团有限公司合作获浙江省科技进步一等奖1项、中国石油和化学工业联合会科技进步一等奖1项和浙江省科技进步二等奖2项。

Mr. Weidong Zhu received his MSc and PhD degrees in Industrial Catalysis from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. He is Inductee of Zhejiang Provincial Plan for a Thousand of Talents and Distinguished Professor of Zhejiang Province. Currently, Dr. Zhu is Principal Investigator of Innovative Research Team Advanced Catalysis Materials of Ministry of Education of China, Director of National Base for Innovation and Introducing Talents (111 Plan) of Discipline Advanced Fluorine-Containing Materials, Member of the Molecular Identification & Separation Engineering Committee of Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China, Director of Zhejiang Engineering Research Center for Green Syntheses and Applications of Fluorine-Containing Specialty Chemicals, Director of Zhejiang Provincial International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Base for Advanced Fluorine-Containing Materials, Director of Institute of Advanced Fluorine-Containing Materials of Zhejiang Normal University, and Executive Council Member of Zhejiang Provincial Chemical Industry & Engineering Society etc. His interests include applied fundamental research and industrialization research and development of industrial catalysis, adsorption and diffusion in porous materials, and fluorochemical industry etc. Prof. Zhu has co-authorized more than 200 scientific papers published in international mainstream chemical engineering and chemistry journals such as Chem. Eng. Sci., Chem. Eng. J., J. Catal., ACS Catal., Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc. etc., among which the total citations of 10 representative articles are more than 3,000 times. He was Chair of one international conference and was invited as member of the scientific committee and session chair of several international academic conferences. Prof. Zhu has delivered more than 40 presentations, including plenary, keynote, and invited lectures, at international academic conferences. As principal or main investigator, he has cooperated with several domestic and international well-known companies to carry out R&D and to reform technologies, achieving considerable economic benefits. In addition, more than 40 patents have been issued. He received a Chinese Overseas Chinese Contribution Award (Innovating Talent) in 2012 and The Third Prize for The Natural Science of Zhejiang Province in 2023. In cooperation with Juhua Group Co. Ltd., he received one award for The First Prize for The Scientific and Technological Progress of Zhejiang Province, one award for The First Prize for The Scientific and Technological Progress of China Petrol and Chemical Industry Association, and two awards for The Second Prize for The Scientific and Technological Progress of Zhejiang Province.
