My name is Rui Xue, and I’m an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics, Zhejiang Normal University. I received my Ph.D. in Astronomy from Nanjing University in June 2020, with a research focus on high-energy astrophysics.
Since then, I’ve been actively involved in both teaching and research, supervising graduate and undergraduate students in astrophysics. I’ve had the privilege of visiting several leading research institutions, including the Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics (KIAA) at Peking University in 2016, DESY in Germany in 2018, and Yunnan Observatories in 2021.
To date, I’ve published over 40 papers in major astronomy journals and regularly serve as a reviewer for journals such as MNRAS. I’m especially proud that some of my undergraduate students have published their work in top-tier journals like A&A and MNRAS.
