    Personal Profile

Dr. Rehman Ali, Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Zhejiang Normal University, earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Anhui University, his M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from China West Normal University, and his B.S in Applied Mathematics from Bacha Khan University, Pakistan. His research spans applied mathematics, dynamical systems, partial differential equations, and numerical simulation techniques, with a focus on biological modeling, population dynamics, epidemiology, chemotaxis, pattern formation, as well as physical modeling of wave phenomena, diffusion, and fluid dynamics.

Dr. Rehman Ali has published extensively in leading international journals, including Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation, Physica D, and Mathematics and Computers in Simulation. He has received prestigious awards, such as the Chinese Government Scholarship for full Ph.D. study and the Excellent Paper Presentation Award at the Jiangsu & Yangtze River Delta International Graduate Students Forum.

Combining theoretical analysis with computational modeling and simulations, he investigates spatiotemporal patterns in complex systems and their practical applications in engineering and biological sciences. In addition to his research, Dr. Rehman Ali has substantial teaching experience and actively participates in international conferences and collaborative projects to advance interdisciplinary research.

In his spare time, he enjoys reading scientific literature, developing MATLAB projects, tutoring mathematics, participating in STEM outreach, and playing badminton.
