Research Interests:
We combine strategies and technologies in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology and Medical Biology to uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying embryonic development and human diseases, and to translate our research findings into clinical practice. We encourage and welcome college students to join our lab, to provide us opportunity to help you build your scientific career! Currently, our lab’s research is focused on:
1. Dynamic regulation of stress granules and its role during the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases and viral infections.
2. Biomedical application of nanomaterials, toxicology of novel environmental pollutants and their rapid detection techniques
