博士毕业于爱荷华大学(University of Iowa)毕业，科学教育专业。曾参加AERA、NARST等国际会议。在《Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary Science Education Research》，《Journal of Research in Science Teaching》等期刊发表论文。

研究方向为科学教育、物理教育、教师教育等。
