Li Zhou holds a Ph.D. in Human Geography (Tourism Geography) from Beijing Normal University and has completed postdoctoral research at Nanjing University. He is currently a Master’s Supervisor at the College of Economics and Management (China-Africa International Business School), Zhejiang Normal University. His research interests include tourism geography and regional economics, cross-border tourism, ecotourism, and MICE tourism.
He has led research projects funded by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, the Ministry of Education of China, the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Jinhua Federation of Humanities and Social Sciences. He has also participated in several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and other national research programs.
He has published more than ten papers in academic journals, including Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology, Scientia Geographica Sinica, Resources Science, and World Regional Studies, and has authored one academic monograph.
He supervises postgraduate students in Applied Economics, Tourism Management (MTA), Vocational and Technical Education (Tourism Services), and International MBA (IMBA) programs. His teaching covers business intelligence and big data analytics, consumer behavior, international tourism research, and tourism information systems. He also serves as a peer reviewer for several academic journals and as an expert reviewer and judge for national academic and professional competitions.
