王元恒，男，浙江师范大学数理信息学院副院长、数学教授、博士、博士生导师，浙江省第十届政协委员，浙师大首届十大“学生心目中的好老师”，美国《数学评论》评论员；讲授过《数学分析》、《高等数学》、《泛函分析》、《变分不等式理论》、《Banach空间几何理论》等20余门本科和研究生课程，培养了20余位研究生；主编过教材、书本三部；主持国家自然科学基金、浙江省自然科学基金、省精品课程、省重点教材等省级以上科研与教改项目十余项；获得过浙江省《自然科学奖论文奖》三等奖、河南省《科学技术推广奖》二等奖、浙江省《优秀学术论文奖》等；在国内外学术刋物《数学学报》、《数学年刊》、《系统科学与数学》、《Commun Nonlinear Sci Nume Simulat》、《Journal of Optimization and Applications》、《Journal of Nonlinear and Convex Applysis》等杂志上发表论文70余篇，其中权威文章SCI、MR收录30余篇。
