Personal Information

Jun Li, male, doctor of science, was born in June 1990, in Wanzhou, Chongqing. In January 2022, he joined the Institute of Advanced Fluorine-Containing Materials of Zhejiang Normal University as a "Shuanglong Scholar" distinguished Professor. In 2012, he graduated from the College of Chemistry in Sichuan University with a bachelor's degree, and was subsequently recommended to the Professor Feng Xiaoming's research group for a doctoral's degree program. From August 2017 to July 2018, he was engaged in postdoctoral research at Queen's University in Canada, and his co-supervisor was Professor P. Andrew Evans. In the same year, his application was approved by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and he was awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers. From October 2018 to September 2021, he was studied in Heidelberg University, Germany. The co-supervisor is Professor A. Stephen K. Hashmi. His research interests include organic synthesis methodology, asymmetric catalysis, gold catalysis, photocatalysis, and fluorine-containing organic chemistry. He currently presides over the start-up fund for scientific research of Zhejiang Normal University. So far, more than 15 papers have been published in internationally renowned journals such as Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Org. Lett., Chem. Comm., J. Org. Chem. et al., many of which have been highlighted by Synfacts, X-Mol, etc.
