师从高从堦院士。研究领域涉及环境、化学和生物学方面,具有一定的跨学科背景。近年来主要致力于新型膜分离过程、创新水污染控制技术,以及现代环境微生物技术的研究和开发。主要研究兴趣为分离膜制备及水处理相关机理、环境污染物控制、模型计算、光/电催化、消毒副产物、高级氧化、厌氧氨氧化、颗粒污泥、藻菌体系、材料制备工业废水处理、人工神经网络、遥感监测等。

Ø  系统性理论思想创新:建立了膜污染界面热力学学术理论,成为膜污染基础理论。

Ø  系统性方法技术创新:建立了表面金属化、喷墨打印、仿生等膜制备和改性方法。

Ø  系统性材料体系创新:制备多种新型材料并用于膜制备,制备了系列新型催化剂。

Ø  解决系列工程技术难题:开展了多种水处理技术工程应用,解决工程应用技术难题。
