Niaz Ali Khan is a postdoctoral fellow at Zhejiang Normal University, China. He is graduated from the University of Porto, Portugal. His research focuses on the transport properties of disordered electronic systems. He nurtures a keen interest in implementing the Kernel Polynomial Method (KPM), an efficient and stable numerical method, for underpinning condensed matter problems. His current interests include quasicrystals, disordered quantum systems, nonequilibrium dynamics, the kernel polynomial method, and quantum phase transitions.

Niaz earned an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship (Interweave Project) from the European Union, the World Federation of Scientists (WFS) from CERN Geneva, Project UID/FIS/04650/2013 from Fundação da Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) Portugal, a start-up research grant from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, and Grant No. ZC304022980 from Zhejiang Normal University China. He is an editor of the “American Journal of Physics and Applications” and a referee for quality impact journals.
