Weiwei Huang,  Lecturer at the School of Economics and Management (China-Africa International Business School), Zhejiang Normal University.Earned his Ph.D. from the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research at Beijing Institute of Technology, jointly supervised by the Center for International Climate Research (CICERO), Norway's foremost interdisciplinary institution. Serves as Council Member of the Energy Economics and Management Research Branch of the China Society for Operations Research and Management Science, Member of the Chinese Economists Society in the United States, and Member of the Asian Chapter of the Australian Agricultural Economics Association. He has led research projects including the Zhejiang Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Annual Project, Zhejiang Provincial Education Department General Project, Jinhua Municipal Key Social Sciences Project, and initiatives funded by Diku (Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education).   As a key young researcher, he has participated in multiple projects such as the Ministry of Science and Technology Key R&D Program, National Natural Science Foundation Innovation Research Group, National Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Young Scientist Program, and National Social Science Foundation Key Projects. Has published over ten papers in journals including Renewable Energy, Economic Change and Restructuring, Energy for   Sustainable Development, Science of Science Research, and Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology (Social Sciences Edition). Selected research findings were adopted by the Development Planning Department of the National Energy Administration, reviewed and endorsed by senior officials of the National Energy Administration, supported World Bank-related work, and earned the Norwegian Government Scholarship (2021, awarded to only 10 individuals nationwide).


Research Focus: Energy-Environment-Economy System Modeling, Carbon Neutrality and Peak Carbon Emission, China-Africa Energy and Environmental Economics.
