Zhao Zhang received her PhD degree in 2003 from Xinjiang University. She is now a distinguished professor in Zhejiang Normal University, Zhejiang Qianjiang Professor, a first level candidate for "151" Talent Project, PhD supervisor.
She won NSFC Excellent Youth Project in 2012, Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University in 2009, Henry Fok Young College Teacher Award in 2008, First prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of Xinjiang in 2011, Xinjiang Youth Science and Technology Award in 2013.
As project host, she has accomplished 3 NSFC projects and 4 projects from Chinese Ministry of Education, and is now presiding 1 NSFC project and participating in 2 NSFC key projects. She has published over 140 academic papers among which 90 are indexed by SCI.
Under her supervision, 3 students have obtained PhD degree and 27 students have obtained master degree. She is now supervising 2 PhD students and 6 master students.
Her current research direction is Operation Research and Theoretical Computer Science.
